My question is will a Dana 20 transfer case in stock form hold up under the torque of a mild 4bt cummins? 200 horsepower and 450 pound feet of torque at roughly 1800 rpms is the target power range. 35 inch tall tires and 3.55 gearing. This will be a daily driven truck with occasional 4x4 use in inclement weather and hunting.

Yes, the Dana 20 is a fairly strong transfer case as long you leave the stock gear set. I would also make sure the Dana 20 is in good condition. Good luck!
