Would like to know if a 255 engine [4.2 ?] with manual overdrive from a 1982 Ford Thunderbird will swap in place of a 2.9 engine/overdrive trans in a 1986 Bronco II?

Sorry, we have never performed that swap. But, I am sure if you fabbed your own mounts and etc. you could make it happen with some elbow grease. We offer the mounts to install a small block Ford and a C4 or AOD automatic transmission.
