I'm thinking about putting a hitch on my '73 Bronco. I just recently bought an old Ski Nautique that I want to pull to the lake. My buddy says the short wheelbase on these early broncos makes them not as good for towing, but I figure with a 302 I should have the power to pull a ski boat out of the water safely. Am I wrong here?
Any thoughts on a hitch/tow package that would work best for my setup? Thanks guys.

Short wheelbase is not ideal to tow with, BUT, it can be safely done if you stay within the limits of your vehicle.
GOOD trailer brakes will be key...along with slow and careful driving.
