AA Adapter 2703
Does anyone know if i can buy the late model shaft and make it work on the early adapter. I want the upgraded oiling but not sure how to get there. I bought a used tranny and adapter (early model). Can Put the newer shaft in the older tranny and if so, what does it take to do this.

Scott, what if i wanted to stay with the AOD and go AODE or 4R70, can I use the later output shaft in the AOD housing. thanks for the reply.
No, you have to use the Advance Adapters output shaft in kit # 50-2703 combined with part # 716057. I hope I answered your question. If not please feel free to call our tech line. 800-350-2223.

Yes, Advance Adapters part number 716057 kit will allow you to use part number 50-2703 in an Ford AODE transmission.
